It's 510 Again!

Any sports or sporty car driver worth their gear oil will remember the mighty Datsun 510 - the front-engine, rear-drive coupe, sedan and wagon that gave racers on a budget something that was just as fun to pilot as BMWs and Alfas of the day. From 1968 to 1973 you could have as much fun as any of those guys with fancy European rides. While a little more boxy than its competitors, the 510 was nonetheless nimble and extraordinarily fun to drive.

Ford's V6 gamble turbocharges sales of F-150

Five years ago, when Ford considered a push to put a pricey, premium V6 in more F-150s, it seemed like a dangerous gamble with a macho, full-sized pickup known for toughness and capacity. To many dealers and company insiders, it seemed like a bad joke. The Nissan Qazana shot testing - complete with what looks like bin-bag disguise I know, it’s not the easiest thing to work out from the picture above, but this is Nissan’s sub Qashqai Crossover – the Nissan Qazana – caught out testing recently. Which goes to show that the Qazana is well on track for amid 2010 launch and production at Nissan’s Sunderland plant. The Qazana – when it debuted at Geneva this year – was a daring concept, to say the least.
