FACTORY
SERVICE
MANUAL

Good morning, today we have a 1990 OLDSMOBILE - TORONADO / TROFEO - ORIGINAL FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL up for auction.

The book is in a good used condition. The manual comes from a former GM dealership, and as such has been used by the mechanics in the dealership. It may have some dust and stains, and greasy finger prints on some pages

This manual is caller the Preliminary Manual - but is identical to the manual that were sold to the public. These manuals were given to the dealership mechanics before the car was introduced, so they had knowledge of the vehicle when the new car was delivered. They actually have some info in them that was never put into the actual consumer manual.

The book is large, and is approx 2 1/4 inches thick. It contains all the information that a mechanic needs for the repair of these type of vehicles.

It cover the following chapters:

GENERAL INFORMATION
LUBRICATION
HEATING & VENTILATION
AIR CONDITIONING
AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR
BUMPER
SHEET METAL
FRONT ALIGNMENT
STEERING
FRONT SUSPENSION
WHEELS & TIRES
PROPELLER SHAFT & U JOINTS
REAR AXLE
BRAKES
ENGINE MECHANICAL
ENGINE COOLING
ENGINE EMISSION CONTROLS
ENGINE EXHAUST
AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
MANUAL TRANSMISSION
CLUTCH
CHASSIS ELECTRICAL
ACCESSORIES
Special Tools,

Even though this book is for a 1990 I am sure most information can be used for other year models as well, as there was not many changes between the years.

These books are invaluable if you are able to do your own repair work. A similar manual on a car I owned saved me over $800.00 on a repair that I could do myself, as opposed to having a dealer do the service work.

The book should pay for itself after only one use.

This book is a MUST HAVE if you are still driving one of these older model vehicles.

Unfortunately we are located in Canada, and delivery may take longer than if it was mailed from a US address - Delivery is usually 7 to 10 business days.

We have several similar manuals on auction this week and will gladly combine items for the lowest shipping cost.

Shipping & Payment

Shipping for this item is only $12.95 (USPS FLAT RATE BOX) for all areas of North America, except CANADA which is $16.80, with very secure packaging.

For payment we accept PAYPAL, .

THANK YOU FOR LOOKING

and

GOOD LUCK BIDDING

Me and My Car: Achim Anscheidt and his Porsche 911 [w/Video]

Tue, 04 Dec 2012

You can tell a lot about a person from the car they drive. It can also be argued that you can tell a lot of about a car from who drives it, especially when that person is a respected designer, in this case the head of Design Bugatti Achim Anscheidt. In one of Drive's latest episodes features Anscheidt and his Porsche ‘Private Project' 911 around the streets of Berlin, discussing his take on minimalism in design and construction and how he feels about personal design projects.

Children And Mobile Phones Prove Biggest Distraction To Drivers

Tue, 25 Feb 2014

CHILDREN might be charming most of the time but a new survey from the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) will no doubt have parents reading the data with a knowing smile. According to the poll, conducted in conjunction with Vision Critical, 29 percent of drivers questioned admitted that their children proved to be the biggest distraction when driving. Following close behind, and with a nod to the busy lives many claim to lead, was the ubiquitous mobile phone - be that for making calls, texting or checking social media updates.

Honda introduces GEAR concept in Montreal

Fri, 18 Jan 2013

We already know that Europe often gets better cars than we do in the United States, but now Canada is getting in on the action, too. At the press days of the Montreal International Auto Show, the Japanese company introduced the Honda GEAR Concept. The car is reportedly inspired by fixed-gear bicycles -- gag me with a spoon -- and Honda says it's simple, utilitarian, but also customizable.
