1990 Suzuki Dt225 Efi 2-stroke Outboard, Perfect, Low Hours on 2040-parts.com
Fairhaven, Massachusetts, United States
Offered for sale is a Suzuki 225 EFI 2-stroke outboard motor. Starts instantly, runs perfectly and has been used very little. A Google search of the serial number tells me it's from 1990.
Normal 20 inch shaft length. Includes spare powerhead for parts cannibalization. The next thing probably won't surprise you: it's available for pickup only. This thing weighs over 500 lbs., and the spare powerhead is most of that again! You need to come with wrenches and unbolt it from the boat (you can have the throttle control cable, etc.). You're more than welcome to run it for a couple minutes with a hose and earmuffs. All cylinders have good compression (range from 125 to 128, according to my compression tester). Has a nice stainless 3-blade prop, but I couldn't tell you the pitch. A very good price for a really nice, strong engine and a spare powerhead for parts. Thanks for looking. |
