Pininfarina Air Flow helmet unveiled

Wed, 11 Nov 2009

This is Pinifarina's Air Flow, a special helmet created by the famed Italian design house for luxury lid manufacturer Newmax, and the star attraction on its stand at the Milan International Motorcycle Exhibition. Pininfarina is the same company that has penned the Ferrari 458 Italia and Maserati Granturismo. But while Pininfarina itself remains an automotive design company, its Extra Pininfarina arm has branched out into other projects, recently designing Coca-Cola drinks machines and the interior of Juventus's new stadium.

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 12 May 2008 10:11 These are the first pictures of Ferrari's new GT, taken from the Italian firm’s teaser website www.ferrarigtcountdown.com. The car won't be shown until the Paris motor show this autumn, but you don't need to wait that long in this internet age – Ferrari is gradually revealing its new baby bit by bit online over the next few months. The five teaser pictures reveal a wide, low, oval front grille, distinctive creases around the door handles, five-spoke alloys, a third rear brake light and a sloping rear end.The official website also has four audio clips of the new Ferrari starting up, revving, running through the gears and then being driven hard.

Mini and Mini Clubman John Cooper Works (2008): first official pictures

Sun, 24 Feb 2008

By Mark Nichol First Official Pictures 24 February 2008 00:01 Just take it in for a moment. That’s the Mini John Cooper Works you’re staring at, all 208bhp of it. Mini will unveil this steroidal version of the already beefy Cooper S at Geneva 2008 before opening the books in July, so get saving.  The Mini JCW extracts an extra 33bhp over the standard Cooper S by dumping the regular turbocharger and strapping on a bigger, twin-scroll unit.
