Faurecia Pin-spiration calls for premium pinboards

Faurecia has launched its ‘Faurecia Pin-spiration' contest, with a brand new 64GB iPad up for grabs. Tier supplier Faurecia is using online sharing community Pinterest to host a new competition to create a pinboard named ‘Faurecia Pin-spiration' – categorized under ‘Cars and Motorcycles' – and filled with things that reflect the meaning of ‘premium’ that could also be used in automotive design. LUXURY car make Rolls-Royce has celebrated its 110th anniversary in style, with a gathering of cars at both Goodwood motor racing circuit and Manchester’s Midland Hotel. The locations are significant, as the Midland Hotel was the setting for the first meeting of Charles Rolls and Henry Royce. Meanwhile, Goodwood has become the marque’s adopted home since the split from Bentley and sale to BMW.

Infiniti FX gets new grille, limited-edition variant for 2012

The Infiniti FX crossover gets a light makeover and a small price increase ($100) for the 2012 model year, plus a limited-edition model. The base FX35 and FX50 all-wheel-drive models will go for $44,900 and $59,350 excluding destination. The Limited Edition FX35 starts at $51,550.
