The pages are clean with the exception of the inside front cover of the Warranty Booklet where the Dealer Info was filled in. The Sound System Guide has a tear along the front cover and also along the edge of all the pages (see pic). The other covers have some shelf/handling wear marks. We all know by now that Hyundai UK PR has a penchant for ‘Girl Power’, which explains why we’ve had Hyundai out playing with the Storm Model Agency and getting cosy with Harrods. Now, in the next instalment in their ’Girls are dong it for themselves’ PR campaign, Hyundai has been busy chauffeuring the inspirational women from Tesco’s ‘Mum of the Year’ award around London, popping from the Savoy to Downing street for a bit of high-profile PR and photo opportunity, with celebs like Mel C, Denise Van Outen and Emma Forbes roped in for good measure.

So no, the 2014 Countryman isn’t the big version of the new MINI Hatch, it’s a refreshed version of the current Countryman with some minor tweaks to keep it current. It’s the usual facelift fodder for the Countryman with a new nose incorporating a new grill with big lower scoop, red ‘S’ badges for the quicker models, LED fog lights, new alloys and underbody guards for the All4 4WD versions.
