Peugeot 2008 Crossover already selling well in UK – and half are White
Thu, 18 Jul 2013More than half of UK sales of the new Peugeot 2008 (pictured) are white cars The Peugeot 2008 – the crossover/SUV take on the new 208 – arrived in production guise at the Geneva Motor Show in March and looked a properly credible effort from the beleaguered French car maker. In fact, when Peugeot announced prices for the 2008 and their UK target sales of 8,000 a year, we thought they were being conservative with their projections, especially as the 2008 starts at a very reasonable £13k. Google continues autonomous car tests [w/video]
Mon, 02 Apr 2012Google is leading the charge towards the production of a fully autonomous car, releasing a video earlier this week of the car being tested on a programmed route. Steve Mahan, who is 95 per cent blind, successfully tested the car with Google engineers and a member of the local police close at hand should something go awry. Google kitted out a Toyota Prius with its software, taking the shape of a spinning cylinder on the car's roof, which senses traffic or activity close to the car and automatically adapts to its situation.
Mini aims to add 3 models by decade's end
Tue, 17 Jan 2012BMW's Mini brand will add three models by the end of the decade, said Kay Segler, Mini's global boss. The added vehicles will bring the number of Mini models to 10.
