PLEASE CHECK WHAT (IF ANY) CUSTOMS FEES YOU MAY BE OBLIGATED TO PAY WHEN YOUR ITEM IS DELIVERED IN YOUR COUNTRY. THE STATED DELIVERY TIMES FOR USPS MEDIA MAIL ARE 2 TO 9 BUSINESS DAYS. MOST ITEMS ARE DELIVERED WITHIN THIS TIME, BUT THERE ARE OCCASIONS THAT THE USPS TAKES 8 OR MORE DAYS JUST TO GET THE MADIA MAIL ITEM FROM PENNSYLVANIA TO THEIR NEW JERSEY SORT FACILITY. ALTHOUGH I ALMOST ALWAYS GET YOUR ITEM OUT THE DOOR AND INTO THE USPS HANDS WITHIN ONE DAY OF THE SALE, IT IS THEN BEYOND MY CONTROL ON WHEN YOUR ITEM IS ACTUALLY DELIVERED. IF YOU NEED YOUR ITEM AT YOUR DOOR QUICKLY, PLEASE CONSIDER PRIORITY MAIL, WHICH IS ALMOST ALWAYS FASTER DELIVERY. WHEN YOU LEAVE FEEDBACK, PLEASE DO NOT JUDGE MY SHIPPING PERFORMANCE BY THE OFTEN PATHETIC USPS PERFORMACE ON DELIVERY TIMES.

Jaguar Land Rover to build cars in China
Sun, 09 Sep 2012Jaguar Land Rover has revealed it is going to build cars in China, starting with either the Freelander 2 or Evoque. Jaguar Land Rover has revealed that it going to build cars outside the UK for the first time (as opposed to re-assembling Freelander 2 CKD kits as it does in India) in a plant just north of Shanghai. As this is China, official permission from the Chinese government is required, but with the joint venture between Chery and JLR now official its seems unlikely to be a problem as JLR will already have agreed to Chery producing JLR cars with Chery badges on.
Video: Fiat creates café racer 500 for SEMA
Tue, 30 Oct 2012Fiat is preparing a café racer-style 500 for this week's SEMA show by stripping down an Abarth version to take it "down to the essence of what you need to drive a car." The café racer philosophy of ‘more speed, less comfort' was born around the 1960s British 'biker scene and while initially focussed on increasing performance, quickly developed into a culture as concered with 'the show' as 'the go'. "It takes something like this to really get noticed at SEMA," says Craig Buoncompago, Project Manager at Fiat Product Design. "The Café Racer is really going to be one special car that you guys should really come and see." The 500's roof has been chopped, while also shorn of its door handles and being fitted with hot rod billet rims.
