Rare: Original owner's manuals set for 1991 Porsche 911 (964 chassis) Carrera 2 + Carrera 4: Coupe, Targa & Cabriolet models. This is an authentic, original print and period correct Porsche literature set.

List of contents:

1- Genuine Porsche embossed black (soft real leather) manuals pouch (storage case) --- the leather is in good condition without any major scratches or rips, but being a used case it shows many indentations, imprint marks and other noticeable flaws on both covers - hard to see from the photos!

2- Porsche 911 Carrera 2 + Carrera 4 Owner's Manual (WKD 964 021 91   8 M   5/90) 131 pages of reading material and technical information --- good condition - all the pages are very clean and intact - some minor creases, indentations and imprints are noticeable on the front and the back covers!

3- Warranty & Maintenance book (WKD 900 123 91   10 M  6/91) 54 pages --- no prior owner information has been entered - 1st in-service stamp was entered in Mar 1991 - the original vehicle's information sticker will be removed  - 6 x additional service stamps have been entered, last service recorded in May 1995 @ 20,000 miles in FL-USA - 2 out of 4 ownership transfer cards in the back pages are present!

5- Porsche Roadside Assistance booklet - 1991

This manual set is NOT a recently circulated set. It has been in our collection for at least the last 10 years and prior to ours, it was in another collector's possession for over a decade!

VW announces Mk6 Golf prices

By Ben Pulman Motor Industry 20 October 2008 12:17 VW has released prices for the new Mk6 Golf, but while the new car was rushed into production to cut costs, none of these savings seem to have been passed onto the consumer – the base 1.4 S now starts at £13,150 – £870 more than the Mk5 entry-level Golf. Along with a 79bhp 1.4-litre petrol engine, an entry level S model comes with a decent level of equipment to help offset the price increase. As standard there's ABS, ESP, seven airbags, air-con, heated and electric mirrors, body-coloured bumpers and door handles, plus a CD/radio.

SsangYong Korando Sports arrives

SsangYong has extended the appeal of their budget SUV Korando by launching the Korando Sports, a cross between a family car and a pick-up. Now SsangYong are pitching in to the Bob the Builder market with their take on vehicles like the Mitsubishi L200 (which has just been given a five year warranty by Mitsubishi) with the SsangYong Korando Sports. The Korando Sports is a double cab pickup with four doors and five seats that SsangYong says offers a working vehicle with 4WD, 2.3 tonne towing capacity and all the appointments of a family car.

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix (2011) - t started as expected... The Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi is certainly a spectacular venue. It doesn’t yet have the soul of the traditional F1 circuits in Europe, but it is a special race (the only day-night race in the F1 calendar) especially for the 2011 World Champion Sebastian Vettel, who is the only man to have ever won on the circuit.
