Porsche will return to Le Mans LMP1 class in 2014

Porsche have announced their intention to return to top-level sports prototype racing in 2014, with a car to compete in the LMP1 class at the Le Mans 24 Hour race. Porsche: Most successful manufacturer at Le Mans The Zuffenhausen-based carmaker has plenty of heritage to draw upon as it enters its LMP1 car development programme. Porsche have won the Le Mans 24hr race 16 times since 1970 with racing models including the 917, 956, 962 and 911GT1.

Range Rover Evoque Cosworth: the faster Evoque

The new Range Rover Evoque is soon to rub shoulders with British tuning specialist Project Kahn. This teaser picture has surfaced online, suggesting a full-on makeover, showing off go-faster stripes and Cosworth branding to give the Evoque a sporty edge. Kahn is rumoured to be working on Ford's 2.0-litre EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder engine, which has plenty of scope for tuning. The Blue Oval produces a maximum of 240bhp in its current applications.  Alex Yeung of Kahn Designs confirmed the project to CAR.

Motorsports Hall of Fame of America moves to Detroit Science Center

The Motorsports Hall of Fame of America is moving its collection from a convention center in metro Detroit to the Detroit Science Center, near the city's downtown. The science center will house the hall of fame's collection of racing memorabilia, which includes cars such as a Kenny Bernstein dragster and S
