Subaru showed two other concepts alongside the Levorg at the Tokyo Motor Show – both of which are interesting, neither of which came with very much information. The Subaru Viziv Evolution proposes a three-motor hybrid all-wheel drive system, similar to that under development by Honda, while the Subaru Cross Sport Design concept appears to be nothing less than a shooting brake estate version of the BRZ. Ferrari California Hybrid on the way? A patent application by Ferrari for a new hybrid system has lead to speculation that a Ferrari California Hybrid is on the way. Ferrari has been flirting with hybrid set-ups for years and actually previewed a 599 with a ‘HY-KERS’ hybrid system at Geneva 2012.

We rang in the week with good news as we found out that the Cadillac ATS will bring a coupe version when the new model arrives next year. We also saw the final trailer for the Oscar-worthy “Fast and Furious 6.” On Tuesday, we checked out the McLaren P1 testing in the Arctic and saw the cars of the upcoming “Grand Theft Auto V” video game, which included pickup trucks, supercar clones and motorcycles. Midweek, we reviewed the 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid and found that the 2014 Lexus IS will only cost $885 more than this year’s.
