Nissan Pivo 3 concept (w/ Video)

You may remember the previous Pivo concepts featured a rotating, spherical cabin, which sat atop a square base whose four wheels allowed it to move in any direction. This Pivo is different in that its cabin is fixed and also (relatively) more car-like, with a design language that is now recognizably Nissan.

The Lightning GT will be powered by batteries and capable of delivering a range of 250 miles on a single charge by distributing power through electric wheel motors. All of the power will be available from zero rpm and a 0-60 time of under four seconds is predicted.
Drivers 'concerned' by automatic speed limit technology
Sun, 03 Nov 2013THREE QUARTERS of drivers say they are concerned about new technology that automatically changes the speed of a car. These Intelligent Speed Adaptation (ISA) systems are designed to force cars to drive within the speed limit and can automatically reduce a car’s speed without the driver’s input. The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) says 75% of drivers it asked thought ISA systems would compromise safety, while 78% did not want to see this technology retro-fitted to older cars.
