Infiniti M35h GT announced
Wed, 04 Jul 2012Infiniti has revealed a new, cheaper, version of the hybrid M35h – the Infiniti M35h GT – which starts at £41,101. We love the idea of modern hybrid technology providing a useful power boost for more performance and better economy, but we don’t like the premium most car makers charge for their hybrid technology. But Infiniti is different, and their hybrid M – the world’s fastest hybrid production car – comes at a very small premium over the equivalent diesel offering, and now it has an even cheaper entry point.

By swinging open its suicide doors (FlexDoors, in GMspeak), we're given our first peek inside ahead of the new Meriva's Geneva motor show debut.It's very Astra-like in here, with a horizontal, wraparound 'wing' section circling the dashboard and running into the door cards. And – at last – the chunky A-pillars on the previous Meriva have been slimmed down a little, removing some of the hideous blindspot that's blighted the first-gen mini-MPV.
GM to seek another shared Toyota model to replace Vibe
Mon, 27 Apr 2009Even as it shrinks its North American product portfolio, General Motors is negotiating with Toyota Motor Corp. to determine a new GM product to be jointly produced at the automakers' 50-50 joint venture, New United Motor Manufacturing Inc. A GM spokesman said that, if successful, the negotiations would result in a new model for one of GM's surviving brands -- Chevrolet, Buick, GMC or Cadillac.
