Refreshed 2013 Nissan Juke offers more colors, better safety and infotainment

Nissan is updating the Juke small crossover for 2013 with new colors, a new appearance package, and new safety and infotainment systems. The biggest change for 2013 is the addition of the Midnight Edition package. The $1,200 option comes with 17-inch black wheels, black rear-roof spoiler and black mirror caps.

Jaguar hybrid cars due in 2013-14

Jaguar will launch its own hybrid vehicles soon after Land Rover, CAR can confirm. Parent company Jaguar Land Rover is developing battery-assisted hybrid versions for both brands but its strategy puts part-electric Land Rovers first on the launchpad in 2013.Hybrid Jaguars – set to include the XJ and XF, but eventually every model – are therefore likely to be on the market by 2013-2014, using a similar eight-speed ZF hybrid transmission to petrol-electric BMWs.The staggered roll-out of battery Jags and Land Rovers makes sense: heavy 4x4s have come in the firing line from green protestors who label them Chelsea Tractors. Nissan 370Z unveiled at LA Auto Show

Topping the list of 370Z talking points are a shorter wheelbase, a larger engine, a seven-speed automatic and the world’s first rev-matching six-speed manual gearbox. Nissan dubs it the ‘SynchroRev Match’ function (they would, wouldn't they?), and it essentially blips the throttle to smooth out any shifts.
