Local Motors XC2V design competition winners announced

The winners of the Local Motors XC2V design competition have been announced. Created in partnership with the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the brief called for individuals to co-create a vehicle body design for two different missions – Combat Reconnaissance and Combat Delivery & Evacuation – based on Local Motors' tubular steel chassis. The goal was to create a fast, lightweight, highly capable vehicle that would be suitable for various field missions.

See Nissan's new London taxi The Japanese manufacturer has done its best to make the NV200 echo the carbon-dateable TX4 (which owes much of its styling to the 1958 Austin FX4), but let’s be honest – the new Nissan looks like a van. Rolls Roye Wraith – final tease ahead of Geneva debut

Rolls Royce has revealed the final tease photo of the new Wraith – the RR Ghost Coupe – ahead of its debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. It started out with the reveal of the return of the Wraith name – and an ethereal image of the Spirit of Ecstasy - in the middle of January, followed by a shadowy tease photo a week later of the Wraith and finally a couple of detail photos of the interior. Now, for the final tease of the Wraith ahead of its Geneva debut, Rolls Royce seem to have gone back to the beginning, with a tease photo of the Wraith that’s just a series of a few lines.
