Strong running cone clutch King Cobra. INCLUDES transom plate, trim rams, inner plate, external steering bracket, drive shower.  All in great working order.  Very little corrosion.  Drive is serviced annually.  No leaks.  Shifts great.  I have video of it running and shifting.  I will ship anyway you like.  Buyer pays shipping.  Has 1.43 gear, used behind a 454 on a very light Donzi, 3000 lbs.  Great drive has lots of life left.  I am upgrading to a lower profile drive, this drive works amazing.  Side cowlings are off to allow better water flow from the drive shower to the cone clutch housing.  This keeps the cone clutch at a lower temperature for extra long life.  I have the side cowling in case the next owner prefers not to use the drive shower.

London Congestion Charge jumps 15% to £11.50 a day

Fri, 30 May 2014

London Congestion Charge jumps 15% to £11.50 a day – and even a normal Prius must pay We all moaned when the London Congestion Charge zone was put in place in 2003 and we had to pay £5 a day to drive in London during the day on weekdays. But it’s gone up a bit since then. By 2011, it was costing twice as much – £10 a day – for the dubious privilege of driving in London, but having resisted the temptation of putting the price up for the last three years, Transport for London has announced it will be charging 15 per cent more from 7am on 16 June 2014 for your daily commute – that’s a whopping £11.50.

Is Stirling Moss a misogynist & homophobe? No, just a man from a bygone age.

Sir Stirling Moss is a remarkable character; a proper ‘Boys Own’ hero from a bygone age where men where men and women cooked and cleaned and did as they were told (well, in public, at least). Now 83 years old, Stirling Moss is still a force to be reckoned with, still making public appearances, still driving and still opinionated. But his opinions are a bit out of kilter with modern sensibilities.

Death rates in crashes between big trucks and cars dropped 64 percent in 2008-09 compared with 2000-01, according to an insurance-industry study of government data. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety cited changes in vehicle design, particularly for SUVs and pickups, as a key factor in the decline. The number of deaths for car and minivan passengers involved in crashes with larger vehicles fell from 44 per million in 2000-01 to 16 deaths per million in 2008-09, the study found.
