Tesla Model X to debut 9th February Tesla CEO Elon Musk has revealed that the Tesla Model X Suv Crossover will debut in California on 9th February. With the Tesla Roadster at the end of its life, and then Model S Saloon about to hit the road (probably), Tesla are moving on to the next instalment of their electric car pilgrimage - the Tesla Model X. We had expected the Model X – which is based on the same underpinnings as the Model S Saloon – to debut by the end of 2011.

It looks set to improve in a number of important areas when the 2010 Qashqai hits showrooms in March, and it seems that the great car buying public is in agreement as Nissan has just announced that they are to increase production at their plant in Sunderland to cope with demand for the new Qashqai. SsangYong are continuing their Korando offensive with the Korando CSX Commercial, a van based on the Korando. The Ssangyong Korando is a decent effort to take on cars like the Hyundai ix35 and Ford Kuga, and now they’re having a punt at turning the Korando in to a ‘van’. But they haven’t exactly gone overboard with the detail and appear to have simply removed the back seats and painted out the back windows so no one can see what you’re carrying.
