Sunroof smash woman narrowly escapes injury
Mon, 27 Jan 2014A WOMAN narrowly escaped serious injury last week when an unidentified object was dropped from a motorway bridge onto her car, police said. The woman, from Norfolk, was driving northwards on the M11 at around 5.15pm on Tuesday when the item was thrown from the bridge over the motorway at junction seven (Harlow). The sunroof of the black Volkswagen Golf was smashed but the woman was miraculously uninjured.
Ferrari online earthquake auction starts today – 599XX Evo up for grabs

The recent earthquake in the Emilia Romagna region of Italy is where Ferrari is based and their production was disrupted by the second of the earthquakes – measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale and claiming 17 deaths in the region – at the end of May. To help with funding for victims of the earthquake Ferrari has organised an online auction of Ferrari ‘stuff’ which kicks off this afternoon, and includes not just stuff like racing suits and helmets but a specifically built Ferrari 599XX Evo.
Italdesign to unveil fast but frugal hybrid car at Geneva motor show
Tue, 24 Feb 2009Italdesign Giugiaro will unveil a concept for a fast but fuel efficient hybrid coupe at the Geneva auto show. The Italian design and engineering company says the two-seater can reach a top speed of 186 mph (300 kph) and accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in less than 4 seconds. The still unnamed concept will travel 117 miles on a gallon of gasoline, Italdesign says.
