DOMESTIC SHIPPING NOTE:

ALTHOUGH MEDIA MAIL IS THE LEAST EXPENSIVE WAY TO SHIP BOOKS, IT IS ALSO THE SLOWEST METHOD OF DELIVERY BY THE US POSTAL SERVICE.

THE USPS STATED DELIVERY TIMES FOR USPS MEDIA MAIL ARE 2 TO 9 BUSINESS DAYS.

MOST ITEMS ARE DELIVERED WITHIN THIS TIME, BUT THERE ARE OCCASIONS THAT THE USPS TAKES 8 OR MORE DAYS JUST TO GET THE MEDIA MAIL ITEM FROM PENNSYLVANIA TO THEIR NEW JERSEY SORT FACILITY.

IF YOU CHOOSE MEDIA MAIL, PLEASE HAVE THE PATIENCE TO WAIT FOR YOUR ITEM TO BE DELIVERED.

ALTHOUGH I ALMOST ALWAYS GET YOUR ITEM OUT THE DOOR AND INTO THE USPS HANDS WITHIN ONE BUSINESS DAY OF THE SALE, IT IS THEN BEYOND MY CONTROL ON WHEN YOUR ITEM IS ACTUALLY DELIVERED.

IF YOU NEED YOUR ITEM AT YOUR DOOR QUICKLY, PLEASE CONSIDER PRIORITY MAIL, WHICH IS ALMOST ALWAYS FASTER DELIVERY.

THANK YOU.

A NOTE ON INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:

I WILL SHIP INTERNATIONALLY.

US POSTAL SERVICE HAS TERMINATED CERTAIN SHIPPING SERVICES TO CERTAIN

COUNTRIES.

THIS WILL AFFECT INTERNATIONAL FIRST CLASS PARCEL AND INTERNATIONAL PRIORITY

MAIL SERVICES.

THE USPS HAS ALSO NOW SUB CONTRACTED THEIR INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING TO
E-DELCON SERVICES, WHICH HAS DRAMATICALLY INCREASED INTERNATIONAL POSTAL

SHIPPING RATES.

YOU SHOULD CONTACT ME FOR EXACT SHIPPING RATES AND SERVICES BEFORE YOU BUY.

ALSO ANY CUSTOMS FEES, IMPORT DUTIES OR IMPORT TAXES WHICH MAY BE ASSESSED AT DELIVERY, ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER, AND NOT INCLUDED IN THE SELLING PRICE OR SHIPPING COST.

THANK YOU.

One Lap of the Web: Panteras, Battlebirds and Patrick Dempsey's entrepreneurial brilliance

Mon, 20 May 2013

We spend a lot of time on the Internet -- pretty much whenever we're not driving, writing about or working on cars. Since there's more out there than we'd ever be able to cover, here's our daily digest of car stuff on the Web you may not otherwise have heard about. -- Sure, later versions of the De Tomaso Pantera looked a bit outrageous with their wide fenders and Countach-like spoilers.

Vygor Opera: An ugly Crossover from Italy

Tue, 11 Oct 2011

Vygor Opera We all know Italy has problems at the moment, as it seems Silvio BerlusconiĀ has maxed out the State Credit Cards. But the problems are much bigger than we thought if the newly revealed Vygor Opera is anything to go by. Italy has always had style, and a stroll through Milan could make you think Italy is one big fashion house, as impossibly stylish Italians promenade their stuff.

Chrysler's high-stakes 'no' to NHTSA

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

DETROIT -- For 17 years, automakers have complied with every request for a recall, no matter how costly, from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. And then last week, in a startling decision, Chrysler Group said no. It refused a request from NHTSA to recall 2.7 million 1993-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokees and 2002-07 Libertys for an alleged fire risk caused by fuel tanks mounted behind the rear axle.
