GMC 1993 Safari Van factory produced service shop repair manual of the type used in the new auto dealership repair shop. This is a new book, never used by any service technicians. It contains info on the heating and air, engine, brakes, frame and sheet metal, electrical and transmission. This contains the same info that the Chevrolet Astro technician would use, too. Again, this is NOT a reproduced book, but rather an new original book sent out to the GMC dealership. I got it from the dealer 20 years ago, when he went out of business, and it has NEVER been used. |

More than 800 cars apply for Monterey Motorsports Reunion
Tue, 20 Mar 2012The 2012 Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Shelby Cobra, and more than 800 applications for participation have been received. There will be 17 race groups at the track Aug. 17-19, but participation is limited to 550 cars.

In it, presenters Mike Brewer and Edd China will restore their 100th car. To promote its return, the programme has asked more than 2,000 people to vote for what they think is the greatest car of all time – as well as the top 10 previously embarrassing cars they’d now like to own.

Fri, 03 Oct 2014The Hyundai i40 Hybrid & i30 CNG on the floor in Paris Hyundai is busy trying to find ways to reduce emissions and increase economy – just like every other car maker – and has arrived at the Paris Motor Show with a pair of economy-focused models – the Hyundai i40 mild hybrid and an i30 running on compressed natural gas (CNG). The Hyundai i40 gets a 48V mild hybrid setup just like the Kia Optima-T Hybrid, which means a 48V lead-carbon battery which cuts emissions from the 1.7 litre diesel by up t0 20 per cent by allowing electric-only running at low speeds and when cruising and, just like the Optima, the i40 hybrid gets a belt-driven starter generator for seamless restarting, which also contributes to engine power in normal running. The beauty of the system – apart from improvements in economy and emissions – is that it’s very light compared to a full hybrid – just 46kg – and costs 75 per cent less than a full hybrid system to install.
