2012 Renault Megane - price & spec revealed Renault has announced UK prices and specifications for the 2012 Renault Megane hatchback, coupe and Sport Tourer. Renault may have slashed its UK offerings, but the perennial Megane soldiers on with a small tidy-up for 2012, new prices and new specifications, with details announced today. We’ve expected BMW to bite the bullet at some point and recreate its mid-engined M1 Supercar. Work has stopped on a planned electric version of the Opel Adam minicar due to high costs. The project had progressed to the development of a working car using technology from the upcoming Chevrolet Spark EV minicar. "It was a business decision," said Dieter Metz, Opel's chief engineer for the Adam.
