Scuola Polytecnica di Design Milan announces new Masters in Transportation Design

Jul 30, 2004 - Milan's Scuola Politecnica di Design has announced the new edition of the Masters course in Transportation Design, which will be held in partnership with Lamborghini. The Masters Course, starting in October 2004, will be coordinated by Marco Bonetto with the support of Walter De' Silva, Design Director Audi-Seat-Lamborghini and Luc Donckerwolke, Chief Designer Lamborghini. As part of the 2004-2005 edition of the Masters course, students from all over the world will take part in the development of a new concept car for the prestigious Italian car maker, which is now part of the Audi Volkswagen Group.

2013 Range Rover gets its first Award

The 2013 Range Rover – which has just arrived at the 2012 Paris Motor Show – has garnered its first award as the top 4×4 by the Sunday Times. It seems that the Sunday Times felt able to judge all that mattered about the new Range Rover from a ride in the passenger seat of a new Range Rover being driven by Land Rover’s Chief Engineer, Mike Cross. Very odd.

Value-Added New Focus Keeps Asking Price In Check

WITH the launch of Ford’s new Focus just around the corner, the Blue Oval firm has announced that prices will start from £13,995 - the same as today’s Focus, with top Titanium and Titanium X versions costing £100 less than the outgoing equivalents. The new Focus range retains a six-series line-up of Studio (from £13,995), Style (£16,795), Zetec (£18,295), Zetec S (£20,045), Titanium (£19,795) and Titanium X (£21,795). According to Ford, the new Focus builds on its reputation for technology, which since 2011 has featured automated parallel parking, Active City Stop low-speed collision avoidance, Traffic Sign Recognition to monitor and record road signs and Blind Spot Information System, as optional equipment.
