The Jaguar XJ receives Automobile Magazine's All Star Award No, ‘All Star’ doesn’t refer to celebs who’ve fallen for the charms of Jaguar’s new XJ, from our own Jaguar-loving Richard Madeley to rap’s own Mr Jay-Zed who featured a new XJ in a recent vid. The ‘All Star’ here is the All-Star Award from America’s Automobile magazine who’ve decided that the new XJ deserves an award, just as the Jaguar XF deserved the same accolade in 2009 and 2010. Jaguar XJS - traded for a Hyundai i10 under the Scrappage scheme But it does seem to be producing good results for Hyundai, with their Hyundai i10 flying out of showrooms. Which is no real surprise. The £2,000 Scrappage allowance is a big chunk of such a cheap car, and is probably achievable for a high number of owners of ‘Clunkers’.

Tiggywinkles get help from Toyota

ANIMAL CHARITY Tiggywinkles has a new supporter in the shape of Toyota GB, who have donated a new Hilux pick-up to help with its work in rescuing and caring for sick, injured or orphaned animals. The new Hilux Double Cab Invincible model will replace another Toyota model that was donated 20 years previously, and has covered thousands of miles in the process. Tiggywinkles, based near Aylesbury, has been rescuing, treating and rehabilitating British wildlife for more than 30 years.
