Part: 1994-1995 Mercury 3.0L CARB or EFI 225 / 250 hp Outboard Powerhead. Serial #OG052439.  This powerhead was removed from a running outboard and compression checked before disassembly.  The listing is for the powerhead only as pictured (block, crank, rods, pistons, heads are included ).  This is a used powerhead with excellent compression, ready to bolt on. Compression is 120psi on all 6 cylinders which is within factory spec for this motor. Our research has shown that this powerhead will fit at least 1994 & 1995 Mercury 225/250hp 3.0L CARB or EFI fueling system depending on whether you use carbs or install an EFI system. The key feature is that it has an 8-spline crankshaft which is rare and you will need to use a lower unit with an 8-spline drive shaft to fit this crank.  May also fit additional models, please do your own research or ask your local mechanic. It is ready for you to move the electronics and accessories off of your motor onto this long block (block, crankshaft, pistons & cylinder heads). Condition: Used in excellent physical and cosmetic condition. Motor was run before disassembly and compression tested.

A stretched version of the already stretched Fiat 500L, the 500L MPW (which gets the 500L Living badge outside the UK) isn’t a true 7-seater, but does get two extra occasional seats in the boot for transporting the smallest members of your brood when needed.

Top Gear Best of British Cars Parade on the Mall The new series of Top Gear (Series 20) starts next Sunday, and it looks like the segment on the new Jaguar F-Type is going to be Top Gear’s most ambitious shoot yet. Jeremy Clarkson Tweeted the photo above of the line-up on the Queen’s front drive (The Mall) as Top Gear seem to have dragged just about every British built vehicle with an engine and wheels out to play. Apart from the trio of F-Types leading the procession, there’s everything from a McLaren P1 – and a couple of 12Cs – by way of an Aston Martin One-77 to fire engines, Nissans, lawn mowers, motorbikes, a selection of F1 cars from Red Bull, McLaren et al, and any other metal you can imagine.
