Part: 1994-1995 Mercury 3.0L CARB or EFI 225 / 250 hp Outboard Powerhead. Serial #OG052439. This powerhead was removed from a running outboard and compression checked before disassembly. The listing is for the powerhead only as pictured (block, crank, rods,
pistons, heads are included ). This is a used powerhead with excellent compression, ready to bolt on. Compression is 120psi on all 6 cylinders which is within factory spec for this motor. Our research has shown that this powerhead will fit at least 1994 & 1995 Mercury 225/250hp 3.0L CARB or EFI fueling system depending on whether you use carbs or install an EFI system. The key feature is that it has an 8-spline crankshaft which is rare and you will need to use a lower unit with an 8-spline drive shaft to fit this crank. May also
fit additional models, please do your own research or ask your local
mechanic.
It is ready for you to move the electronics and accessories off of your
motor onto this long block (block, crankshaft, pistons & cylinder

Spyker signs deal with China's Hawtai Motor to raise funds for Saab
Tue, 03 May 2011Saab owner Spyker Cars on Tuesday said it has signed an agreement with China's Hawtai Motor Group to form joint ventures for manufacturing, technology and distribution. The agreement will also provide $222 million (150 million euros) funding for Saab, which has been forced to halt production because it cannot pay suppliers' bills. Victor Muller, Spyker CEO and Saab chairman, said the partnership will allow Saab to enter the Chinese car market with a strong Chinese manufacturer.
Eagle builds a new E-type speedster

The speedster, commissioned by enthusiast Dr Rick Velaj, uses a standard 1966 E-type as its base. Eagle then rebuilt it to a new sky-high specification, clad it in a one-off aluminium bodyshell, fitted it with its Supersport options (stiffer suspension, uprated brakes and modern tyres) and strapped in its own highly developed 4.7-litre straight six.
