Don't get caught on car hire 'slippery slope'

Thu, 19 Dec 2013

'DO IT YOURSELF' holidays are generally seen as a cheaper version of what can be steeply priced and inflexible package deals, particularly in the notoriously expensive ski market. But experts are warning that skiers who make their own way to the slopes this winter, instead of buying a package with transfers included, could be hit by hefty charges for car hire at the airport. Kia four-door sports sedan concept

Fri, 19 Aug 2011

Kia isn't giving much away about its Frankfurt-bound concept car, indeed it hasn't even released its name yet, referring to it as the 'four-door sports sedan concept.' "No matter from which perspective you look at it - this concept car is roaring with energy and ready for take-off," says Peter Schreyer, Kia Motors Chief Design Officer."I believe the car is a strong statement from Kia: we are ready to fast forward to an all new chapter." We'll bring you full details (and hopefully a name) from IAA next month. Photo gallery: Kia four-door sports sedan concept

Intermot-IVM Design Award Competition 2004

Fri, 21 May 2004

A perception that young people are less and less attracted to motorbikes provides the theme for the first Intermot-IVM Design Award competition. The Motorcycle Industry Association of Germany (IVM e.V.) and the Trade Fair Munich/Intermot have decided to intensively take care of their young clients with several activities this year. As young people are no longer inspired by superb technology alone, but are impressed more and more visually, it is only logical to place a greater emphasis on the design of the bike in winning over young customers.
