This is a 2.5mm over-bored throttle body for 1994-97 Mazda MX-5 Miatas with manual transmission.  I haven't tried it out myself, but am told it's in good working condition and worth 10-20 extra horsepower.  (I'm a "set it and forget it" kind of guy and haven't tinkered with the supercharger setup since getting it installed.)  If you're seriously looking at this auction, you probably know more about it than I do, but I'll do my best to answer any questions.

Former Bertone and Pininfarina designer, Jason Castriota, has opened his own design consultancy based in New York and Turin. CDN recently caught up with Castriota - who is currently in New York - and discovered he's already working on a series of projects, despite having not yet officially launched the company. Castriota told us that it had always been his "dream to have my own consultancy in New York", yet what's clearly pleasing him most is the volume of work he's already accrued, without officially launching the firm.

Production of the Smart ForTwo EV starts in November The 2nd generation Smart uses centrally positioned Lithium Ion batteries which power a rear mounted 30kw motor generating 120nm of the twisty stuff from the off. Which should make the ForTwo Electric respond pretty well in the city environment it’s designed for. But don’t get too excited.

Global economic waters are far from calm, but Ferrari has managed to steer clear of the turmoil. The Italian automaker has released sales figures for the first six months of 2012, and they’re impressive by any measure. Revenues for the first half of the year are up nearly 12 percent, and net profits have risen 10 percent to over $130 million.
