Factory original service manual set of 2 books as used in the dealership service area.

Condition is VG on these original books, showing light handling and a bit of edge wear on the covers as well as a strong crease on vol 2 (see photo as it does show), the pages are clean and the bindings are strong.  I rate the set 7.5 - 8 on a 1 - 10 scale, VG used but not up to excellent, as I am a tough grader.

As I compose this ad, I note other offerings of this 2 volume set at $48.95 on up to $200, although in what looks to be in better condition.   I will price my set  lower, as I have just this one to sell, take advantage.

I clean and detail each and every book that I sell, to make it the best that it can be.  I also take care in packing, as I would want you to do if you were shipping to me.

Ships at 11 lbs, I will help with shipping costs, 48 state continental USA only.

Awesome video of Porsche engine teardown

Tue, 09 Jul 2013

If you’re considering tearing down the 3.2-liter air-cooled flat-six in your 1984-1989 Porsche 911 , this stop-motion video should help motivate you. Skipping past all the stuck fasteners, broken parts and most of the unpleasant discoveries you’ll encounter when pulling any old engine apart has a way of making a full teardown seem downright manageable. But, whether you have an old 911 or not, this video is mighty entertaining and definitely worth a look.

Tesla Roadster vs Top Gear

Wed, 17 Dec 2008

As I’m sure many of you will have seen at the weekend, Clarkson got to play with the Tesla Roadster, an electric sports car based on the Lotus Elise. Made for interesting viewing. It was obvious that the weight of the batteries would compromise the handling, but its actual straight-line speed was a real revelation.

Upcoming Mercedes-Benz MLC-class spied testing

Mon, 14 Jul 2014

Just a few weeks after the debut of the Mercedes-Benz MLC in concept form, prototypes have been spotted testing in Colorado earlier this month. The MLC is meant to offer packaging similar to the BMW X6, combining the SUV shape of the ML with a more coupe-like exterior design. The MLC will make its public debut at the Moscow International Motor Show in August of this year, a location that is perhaps indicative of the target audience for this upcoming crossover.
