This is the absolute truth: The Jaguar ran but not very well. The body was in terrible condition. The sun had come in and rotted most of the leather, and there was a fender and quarter panel damage. The dashboard was cracked. These drove in 2015 around my dealership and drove home to my buyers house. He barely made it home. He parked the car under a tree and never got around to pulling the parts out for his project. In 2016 the neighbors starting calling the city complaining so he called me to come repossess it. I have no clue what was wrong with the Jag and which component is better than the other. I think they needed a tune up. Maybe drain the gas or small things. I see leaking oil on the bottom and it dripped on the transmission. There was no way these were going to the crusher. Use them complete or for parts. Now I have this cherry picker to get the engine on a truck, but a semi truck 18 wheeler can not make it in and out of my complex only box trucks. Booming sales of SUVs have encouraged the British 4x4 specialist to grow its popular Discovery family into a whole range of off-roaders. The next Freelander due by early 2015 will be badged as part of the Discovery lineup, for instance.
Kia Track’ster is a bonkers 4wd 250bhp concept
Wed, 08 Feb 2012The barking mad Kia Tracks'ter The Kia Trackster Concept has been revealed as a three-door, 250bhp, 4WD track version of the Soul. The Kia Soul may not be thye first car you’d think of turning in to a hot hatch, but that hasn’t stopped the Kia Track’ster arriving as a concept at the Chicago Motor Show today. Based on the Soul, the Tracks’ter (those Kia apostrophes again) gets 4WD, loses its back seats to what Kia call an “Integrated Equipment Tray” instead, gets a 2.0 litre turbo with 250bhp mated to a six-speed ‘box and a set of 19″ alloys.

Sun, 17 Jun 2012We’ve had the latest version of the Jaguar XJ in for review – the LWB 3.0 litre Diesel Portfolio with Sports Packs – to see how the XJ is maturing. It’s getting on for two years since we had the first Jaguar XJ in for review, and almost three years since we first saw the new XJ at the Saatchi Gallery in London, almost a year before Jaguar managed to get their new range-topper in to showrooms. In between we had a long-term XJ in for review which was with us for four months and proved to be far more reliable than the early car we had in – which did have problems – and a car we covered most the UK in with almost nothing in the way of hiccups.
