Lamborghini Jota: Tease 3
Tue, 14 Sep 2010Lamborghini Jota Tease 3 I know, it’s getting boring already. The first tease we had on the Lamborghini Jota was back in June when Lamborghini sent a photo of the bonnet of a car and the catchy (and let’s not forget, original) tag line ‘Coming Soon…’. That was followed up just over a week ago with another blindingly helpful photo of the Lamborghini Jota – this time of a tail light and a bit of carbon fibre.
Hyundai ix35 Hydrogen FCEV for £300 a month and free fuel – but only in the U.S.
Fri, 22 Nov 2013Hyundai Tucson Hydrogen FCEV (pictured) for £300 a month and free fuel – but only in the U.S. It’s very early days for cars powered by hydrogen fuel cells, not least because there’s very little in the way of a refuelling infrastructure in place. But car makers are starting to push FCEVs in a bigger way as production costs fall and performance increases, and Hyundai are at the forefront of this move with the hydrogen-powered ix35 and its US equivalent the Hyundai Tucson.
Drive the Polo R WRC as VW Rally the World
Mon, 21 Oct 2013Drive the Polo R WRC as VW Rally the World Volkswagen have already made the most of their entry in to the World Rally Championships this year with the Polo R WRC – apart from the fact it’s created a 4WD platform for the Polo/A1 in the process – with a street version of the Polo R WRC (although not in the UK). But VW’s adventure in to WRC with the Polo R hasn’t just been about a bit of product development and a spun-off road version – they’ve taken it very seriously. So seriously have VW taken WRC – and so well prepared were they – that Sebastian Ogier has already taken the 2013 drivers gong in WRC (from the previous – long term – incumbent Sebastian Loeb) with three races left, in his 315bhp, 4WD Polo R, and VW look set to take the team title too.
