Ford Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition revealed – unlikely to make the UK

The Ford Mustang 50 Year Special Edition The Ford Mustang is a very big deal in the US, so it’s no surprise Ford are producing a special model to celebrate the launch of the first Mustang in 1964. The Ford Mustang 50 Year Limited Edition – yes, it does what it says on the tin – is based on the 2015 Mustang GT Fastback with Performance Pack and a choice of just two colours - Wimbledon White (the one in the photos) or Kona Blue – with either a manual or auto gearbox. Nods to the original design include chrome bezels round the bottom of the tail lights, a fake fuel filler cap on the back and louvered rear quarter windows.

Ferrari FF technology focused on performance, less weight

At 660 hp, the Ferrari FF matches the horsepower output of the 2002 Enzo, becoming the most powerful production Ferrari ever. The company built just 349 units of the Enzo from 2002 to 2004, while Ferrari plans to build about 1,000 FFs a year. Porsche has announced a Limited Edition Porsche 911 that will launch at Frankfurt - The Porsche 911 Sport Classic Porsche has plundered its history to build in to the 911 Sport Classic styling cues from the past. The Sport Classic gets a ‘Duck-Tail’ rear spoiler (thank you, 1973 Carrera RS 2.7) and ‘Fuchs-Style’ alloys (ditto – at least in terms of chronology).  You can also throw in to the mix a double-bubble roof (Carrera GT et al) and black surrounds to the headlights, which is evocative of the 1970s Porsche racers. So having thrown every design cue that fits from its history, what else does the 911 SC get?
