From an accident damaged 1995 BMW 740iL comes this Engine computer ( ECU ECM ) w/ an Automatic transmission.  Match the  #  1744605 /  12.14 - 1 744 605   (  BOSCH# is  0261203484 )  Vin# from 'donor' car is:  WBAGJ6321SDH34962 .    Can be found in some 1995 and possibly even some 1994 models ( OBDI cars  > CHECK YOUR #'s!!)            NOTE;   THESE COMPUTERS NEED REPROGRAMMING TO YOUR VEHICLE AS THEY ARE EQUIPPED W/ IMMOBILISER SYSTEMS, or you must do your research to find out how to disable it (possible for OBDI cars, but not sure about 96+)   NOTE:      I'm including the matching Immobiliser from this car as shown in the first picture (the little white box) as this may help take a step out of the reprogramming process, check w/ your Installer!!   PLUS, I have the key from this car too, but I don't have the ignition cylinder so there must be some way to get the chip out of this key and install it into yours..... had many people ask about getting the key too, but this is the first time one of these cars actually came in w/ a key.................... By Ben Whitworth Motor Shows 17 December 2007 10:30 It may be a long way off on your automotive calendar, but next year’s 2008 British Motor Show looks set to be the biggest yet, with organisers expecting ticket sales to top the 550,000 mark. Housed at ExCeL London in the Docklands between 23 July - 3 August 2008, the show will feature more than 60 vehicle marques and 600 cars – including the global debut for the new Vauxhall Insignia and a preview of the new four-seater Lotus Project Eagle (mule for next-gen Eagle/Esprit chassis testing above). Although it’s still some eight months distant, over 80 percent of the stand space has already been sold, and the exhibition will also include the following attractions: • The Heritage Enclosure and Parade – a driving display providing the sights, sounds and thrills of supercars from the last five decades • Drift School – a chance for visitors to be driven sideways around a circuit by professional drivers • The Marine Experience – the British Marine Federation will display a line-up of luxury water craft as well as a programme of on-water entertainment • The Autoglym Supercar Paddock, a high-octane collection of luxury marques • The 4x4 Experience, a challenging terrain for testing the best of the off-road pack • Motor Theatre, a live-action stunt show Tickets to the Show will be on sale from February, with prices starting at just £8.

Dodge debuts new emblem

With Ram and Dodge going their separate ways, the Ram brand is keeping the distinctive ram's horns logo that adorned Dodge vehicles. That left the Dodge brand to search for a new symbol as it tries to reinvent itself as a sporty, youth-oriented brand -- without pickups. So Dodge CEO Ralph Gilles adopted the twin red slashes of Chrysler Group's performance cars, seen on SRTs and R/T models.

Acura reverses product plans

Acura is reversing course in North America as the brand suffers through the shift from high-performance luxury vehicles and the cancellation of its V8 and rear-wheel-drive programs. There is "a certain level of confusion" about Acura in the marketplace, Honda Motor Co. CEO Takanobu Ito told Automotive News at the Tokyo auto show.
