This manual is in huge a 3-ring binder. The pages are 8.5" by 11", but the
binder is 10" by 12". This monster is about 4 inches thick. This is the only one of the manuals I'm selling that comes in a binder, and this is the only one that I'm aware of to have a few greasy or loose pages.
- Some of the pages have become detached from the binder (4 by my count).
- A dozen or so pages have some greasy finger prints on them.
- NO TORN PAGES other than the few detached ones which only have small tears at the 3-ring binding holes.
- NO MISSING PAGES as far as I can tell. I haven't gone through the entire book page-by-page since it is thousands of pages long, but I've inspected the areas where the pages are loose or used-looking and I found no missing pages.
- ALL PAGES ARE EASILY READABLE. Even the few that have some smudges on them are totally readable and usable.
In the pictures, I've included one example each of both the clean pages and the dirty pages. The example of the dirty page was the worst one I could find and is clearly still legible. These dirty pages represent way less than 1% of the pages in the book.
I'm selling several Ford/Mercury/Lincoln/Merkur factory manuals ranging
from 1985 to 1995. All of them are used and show signs of use, but they
came from a classroom, so they are NOT full of grease like you would
find with manuals that came from a real shop.
This item will be wrapped in cardboard for shipping. Local pickup in Ames, Iowa is also an option.

This means that for nearly 13 million motorists, the MOT test could be the only time their vehicle undergoes any kind of safety inspection. Ford Escape and Ford Focus output boosted to meet clunker demand
Thu, 13 Aug 2009Ford Motor Co. is boosting third-quarter production of the Escape and Focus to replenish inventories depleted by cash-for-clunkers demand. Ford is adding another 10,000 units in the third quarter, primarily Escape and Focus, bringing planned North American production for the period up to 495,000 vehicles, up 18 percent from year-earlier levels.
