This engine and transmission runs excellent and is perfect for streetrod project or replacement. This LT1 is an iron head, iron block 5.7 Liter engine that was removed from an Impala SS vehicle. We do not deal in Caprice or former Police cars. These engines have proven themselves extremely versitile and reliable. We have sold over 1000 LT1 engines in the past three years!

All engines/transmissions undergo a complete inspection prior to shipment. We stand by our product. Our professional dismantlers ensure that nothing is cut, nothing is broken. This SPECIAL Engine and trans are backed by a 30 day parts warranty (-shipping). Warranty commences with date of delivery. Mileage documentation/title available. We are a salvage yard, please realize that some parts up for auction may still be installed on vehicle and will need to be removed. Because of this, shipping times will vary, your patience is appreciated. Although we typically ship much faster, shipping can be take up to 14 days on certain ENGINES. 

 FLAT Shipping price includes residential delivery and liftgate truck service BUT remote area exclusion may apply. All items should be inspected in the presence of the driver at time of delivery and any shipping damage should be reported to the driver immediately.

The freight company will call the phone number you provide to make final delivery arrangements when item is at local depot.

Freight quotes valid on DOMESTIC orders only to the contiguous United States. RETURNS:

 Shipping charges are not refundable. Engines and transmissions are covered by a 90 day parts warranty (older than 1998), 180 day parts warranty (1998 and up) unless otherwise stated in auction. And while the five-door 2 hardly looks staid, and actually rather dynamic, the Japanese company is claiming the three-door will be even more sporty. Quite how this will be achieved Mazda doesn’t say and is remaining tight lipped until nearer show time.

Fiat's first, and only, V8 engine debuted at the 1952 Geneva Auto Show powering a sleek two-seater intended to dominate Ferrari, Maserati and Lancia in two-liter sports-car racing. The car was designated the 8V, or Otto Vu in Italian, because Fiat had mistakenly thought that Ford held a trademark on V8. Fiat's legendary design engineer Dante Giacosa mounted the upper portions of a pair of 70-degree V4 engines on a single crankcase to make the 1996-cc, OHV V8.

Electric Ford Focus to guest on Leno show

Jay Leno's new show goes live Monday on NBC, and a guest star from Dearborn, Mich., will have a recurring role. The battery-electric Ford Focus will be the centerpiece of a bit dubbed the “Green Car Challenge” on the show. Leno, a noted car guy, will have celebrity guests compete for the best track times in the Focus.
