The item offered in this auction is a used condition grab bag assortment of interior switches removed from a 1995 Lincoln Town Car four door. This Lincoln was junked because of an underhood fire which burned the entire wiring harness next to the brake booster. I was unable to test most electrical components. Working condition of these switches is unknown. Included are the power mirror switch, 2 door lock switches and the gas door switch. All switches feel normal and return to neutral when released. The door lock switches originally had "U" and "L" on them. One switch has those two letters worn off. While this part was removed from a '95 Town Car, it is likely that Ford used the same part on other years as well.

Cabbies urged to keep crime watch

The London Taxi Watch initiative aims to persuade drivers to pass on information to Crimestoppers anonymously. It is hoped that the nature of their job will enable them to alert the authorities to suspicious behaviour.
Henrik Fisker resigns from Fisker Automotive
Wed, 13 Mar 2013Henrik Fisker, founder and executive chairman of struggling plug-in hybrid vehicle maker Fisker Automotive, has resigned. In an email today to Automotive News, Henrik Fisker, referring to himself in the third person, said: "The main reasons for his resignation are several major disagreements that Henrik Fisker has with the Fisker Automotive executive management on the business strategy." Fisker confirmed his resignation in a phone interview and declined to comment further. Tony Posawatz, who became president and CEO of the company in August, said this morning that he had just been made aware of the resignation.
