North East worst for road safety
Tue, 12 Nov 2013THE NORTH EAST of England has the worst rates for deaths and serious injuries on England’s roads according to data from the Department for Transport. In 2012, the number of deaths and serious injuries in the North East increased by 8%, with an extra 65 incidents recorded compared to 854 in 2011. The South East of England, which suffered some of the worst statistics in 2011, is now the most improved region.

Both men bring decades of rich hot-rodding and motorsports heritage to the festivities. Pink, who was one of the world's premier engine builders in all racing platforms, will have a booth on the midway showcasing Ed Pink Racing Engines and his red 1929 Ford Hiboy roadster, his “Old Master” Top Fuel dragster and other Pink-powered hot rods.

Leading vehicle information expert HPI has warned consumers to be vigilant on the risks of finance fraud and get protection with the HPI Check. The report suggested that car owners raising finance with logbook loans secured on their vehicles are selling the vehicles before settling their accounts, which is leaving buyers at risk of losing their cash - and the car.
