ITEM DESCRIPTION: SAVE BIG on a BRAND NEW Moroso Eliminator Drag Race Rear Sump Oil Pan, 7-Quart for 1996 1997 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 Mustang 4.6L/5.4L SOHC/DOHC with internal oil pump. This oil pan is intended for the racer looking for maximum horsepower gain and oil control during straight line acceleration. Fabricated from aluminum for light weight with a 1-piece billet rail. Kicked-out sump moves oil away from rotating assembly, increases capacity to 7-qts and provides additional ground clearance. Internal baffling keeps oil in the pickup area during hard acceleration & braking. Includes magnetic drain plug, 1/2" NPT fitting for drain back, and dipstick provision. (MR20555)

On May 15 GM Europe designer Jim Das passed away in a Wiesbaden hospital after a year-long battle with leukemia. Jim joined the Opel Design team in 1997 following the completion of his Masters degree at the Royal College of Art. In 1998-99 Jim had a stint in Italy at the Opel Advanced Studio and worked on a roadster study (currently on display at Opel Live in Ruesselsheim).

The new Skoda Rapid – designed to sit in between the Fabia and Octavia – has been revealed ahead of a UK launch in November. We can’t complain that the new Skoda Rapid hasn’t been well and truly flagged up by Skoda as a new Skoda to fill a gap between the Fabia and Octavia. The Skoda MissionL from Frankfurt last year was the concept for the new Rapid and the Rapid itself got a preview at the Beijing Motor Show in April.
