This 1996 Chevrolet-GMC-Buick-Olds-Cadillac 5.7 TBI V-8 Engine was removed from my own personal Classic G30 Van in April of 2016 since the frame had rotted out and the vehicle was no longer safe to drive.  There are 135,000 well maintained miles on this engine and it has always run great all year.  I had purchased the van from a friend of mine who owned it from 56,000 miles and I have had the vehicle for over 6 years.  This engine will fit any older GM vehicle with a TBI system or it would be great for a hot rod project.  This item is for local pickup in Salem, Ohio 44460 and I would deliver it locally for a reasonable fee as well.  Feel free to ask any questions at all about this engine.

Porsche 918 Spyder to get 4.6 litre V8 The Porsche 918 Spyder is to get a 4.6 litre V8 and lose one of its electric motors when it launches after a Frankfurt 2013 debut. It’s almost two years since the Porsche 918 Spyder debuted at the Geneva Motor show as a potential 21st century eco-replacement for the Carrera GT. The amount of interest shown – and offers of deposits – persuaded Porsche to confirm the 918 Spyder for production last March, but it’s still more than eighteen months away from arriving on the road.

CAR tech: what's next for car interior design?

Mon, 19 Aug 2013

Your new car could soon be as thoughtful, powerful and communicative as KITT from the Knight Rider TV series. That’s the ultimate expression of the connected car, a trend which is intensifying rapidly. Over the next five years, car cockpits will be able to relay more information on bigger, multiple screens and through the windscreen, and you’ll be able to give commands far more intuitively thanks to voice recognition and gesture control software.
