***FOR SALE AS IS FOR PARTS ONLY*** The engine started showing signs of antifreeze leak into the oil via the manifold gasket and was taken out of service in favor of a new engine. The engine was then dismantled and these are the parts. All parts appear to be fully useable but please use your own discretions - these are used internal engine parts and no returns will be accepted nor refunds issued. We are not engine people and may not know the signs to look for. However the engine was quiet and the the antifreeze had just started seeping and was not a wide open leak. Mugen Honda CR-Z Hybrid Video ahead of Goodwood
Mon, 13 Jun 2011Mugen Honda CR-Z Hybrid playing on video We reported back in April that Honda had turned to Mugen to see if they could inject anything in to the CR-Z Hybrid that might make it even remotely appealing to a driver. The plan was to take the resulting Mugen Honda CR-Z to this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, to see if the knowledgeable petrolheads that gravitate to the Goodwood Estate like moths to a Summer flame could find something to love in the Honda CR-Z, once it had had some Mugen fairy dust springled on it. We were a bit reluctant to expect anything much of the CR-Z even after Mugen had played, but we were pleasantly surprised to learn that the CR-Z would get a wider track, new suspension and brakes and a drop in weight thanks to some carbon fibre in the mix – most notably the carbon fibre bonnet.
GM recalls ATS, XTS and Impala for brake lamp fix
Thu, 06 Jun 2013Cadillac's 2013 ATS and 2013 XTS and the 2014 Chevrolet Impala are being recalled by General Motors because of a potential problem with the brake lamps. The National Highway Traffic Safety Association reports that the brake lamps may "intermittently flash without the brakes being applied, and the cruise control may disengage." The report states this could cause a crash if the following driver isn't warned to adjust vehicle speed. The recall impacts 1,627 copies of the sedans, and comes just two months after the new Chevy Impalas began rolling off production lines.
Toyota’s production hydrogen car will be the Toyota Mirai
Thu, 31 Jul 2014It looks like this is the Toyota Mirai Toyota are planning to join what looks set to be a bit of a rush by car makers to introduce mainstream hydrogen fuel cell cars with a production version of the Toyota FCV Concept. That production FCV was from Toyota revealed in June, but it didn’t have a name. But it seems, at least according to a report from Bloomberg, that it will be the Toyota Mirai.
