Condition:Used

This motor came from a strong 1996 CR500 with original plastics and nice white tank. It runs and shifts perfectly. Clutch is tight. No case damage. Drain bolt threads are good. No leaks. Oil is free of water (no milk). This is ready to bolt in and go. The condition of the bike was excellent with original graphics, nice untorn seat, and still a very white tank (not sun or fuel aged).  Kick starter is nice and tight, no slop. I did ride it and it runs nice.  It comes with carburetor and electronics. The head looks to be never removed. I think its stock based on the head nuts and bikes condition. I poked a bright flashlight in exhaust manifold and cylinder wall that I could see looked good. Piston has expected colors but no abnormal scoring. It is ready to use. Jetting was spot on for elevation of 1100 feet (Phoenix, AZ).

As far as Rick Johnson (1980's supercross champion), I first met him back in 1990 near my Colorado home in Woodland Park. He was at a secret track (not secret to me since I practiced on it). I've since spoke to him a few times in AZ at the Lucas Oil truck races and he signed the cover for me. It could be removed easily if needed. I would just get the nice Boyesen cover and mount this one on the garage wall. If you ride with it, I'm sure it's going to rub off. It's a sharpie autograph. I rode the bike with a different cover.

I have had 1 negative feedback since 2001. I was a few months back for an over sized item that I was unable to ship. I refunded the money immediately but still received negative. Anyway, my fault but it really brought my percentage down. I just sold a nice 2001 motor and you should see feedback on that in a week or so if you want to see that one.

USA shipping lower 48 states $100. HI and AK email for quote.

International worldwide shipping, email for quote before purchase. It might give an estimate on the listing since I entered weight already. Depending on weight I might use Fed Ex, or UPS, but will be a confirmed tracking delivery. I've shipped 30+ motors all over the world so no problem.

I listed as "no returns", but if you have a valid reason, then I will take a return. This is as stated a CR500 motor, 1996. You can run the motor serial #, it is on the motor. I'm a two stoke enthusiast and just a home owner that has a little fun on the side with the KX500 and CR500.

Toyota Fuel Cell Sedan

Wed, 25 Jun 2014

The exterior design of the Toyota Fuel Cell Sedan has been unveiled and, much to our disappointment, it appears to be a productionized version of last year's FCV concept, a car we felt one of the least impressive of 2013 in terms of design resolution. The Fuel Cell Sedan retains the FCV's gaping lower mask gills that appear to be blanked-off in this instance. They lend the car a very aggressive, hungry face – surely a negative message for a car that majors on a technology that promises to be incredibly efficient and environmentally-friendly.

College Exhibition: Royal College of Art - Connections

Fri, 01 Jun 2007

First year Vehicle Design students at the Royal College of Art were given a brief to develop a car that would achieve universal individual mobility for people of all ages living in rural environments. Using intelligent systems technology, new materials and means, and retaining high standards of sustainability, the students were asked: what are the vehicles for tomorrow's countryside? Five different groups consisting of three students devised several very different proposals to answer this question.
