I am selling my custom-made 1996 Dodge Caravan. I have owned this van for about 13 years. I had the custom raised roof made in Kissimmee Florida. The custom back was fabricated in Sebring Florida. It is all welded aluminum. The van is equipped with airbags suspension in the back which allows you to drop the back end down 5 1/2 inches. The engine was replaced and has 62,000 miles on it.The body is excellent. This van never sees winter weather. I used it to haul my motorcycle from Pittsburgh to Florida and back every year. 3 years ago I started flying back and forth so I no longer use the van. I can't imagine a more convenient way to haul a motorcycle. You have the comfort and economics of a minivan. Everything you need is inside locked up and out of the weather. You can park it anywhere you like without the hassle of having a trailer. You can put seats back in it and use it to haul passengers. (seats not included) This is a very cool van and attracts attention everywhere it goes. if you have any questions or concerns please contact me. (Motorcycle sold separately)Thank you for looking. Chevrolet six-month global sales highest in a century
Thu, 21 Jul 2011Chevrolet saw 2.35 million global sales in the first six months of 2011--its best first-half mark in 100 years. The automaker credits the success of new small-car models for much of the growth, namely the Cruze compact, the Spark minicar, the Aveo/Sonic small car and the Orlando MPV. Chevrolet sales increased 14 percent in the United States from the same half-year period in 2010, with 286,499 more units sold.
The fall and rise of the budget car
Fri, 06 Sep 2013Twenty years ago, the classic bargain brands like Lada seemed to be going the same way as the Soviet empire that spawned them. Woefully dated and badly made, only a weirdo would have bought a new Lada rather than a second-hand model from Ford, Vauxhall or VW. However, one of the big trends in the car industry today is the re-emergence of bargain cars.
