A total of 1.8 million used cars were sold in the period July to September 2010 - a 4% rise on the same period in 2009, statistics from information services company Experian showed. This was just six months after the Corvette made its world debut at the 1953 GM Motorama at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has received 30 consumer reports that both low beam headlights will shut off while driving at night, without warning.
