This auction is for a service manual for the 1996 KIA Sportage, 2 books - volumes 1 and 2. The 1st volume is 1 1/2" thick and the other is a little over 1". The 1st book has some warping of about the first 50 pages but still readable/usable and there is a crease line on the front cover. Volume 2 is like new. On both volumes the number 4 is written on the side edge of the pages on the top and bottom. Nice set of books. I have other KIA manual books for sale. I combine shipping. Mazda already has Tamura versions of the Mazda2 and Mazda6 on offer which were launched last year, and now it’s the turn of the Mazda3 to get the Tamura treatment. GM to import more Chevy Spark minicars from Korea
Fri, 12 Oct 2012General Motors is increasing imports of Chevrolet Spark minicars for sale in the United States following a stronger-than-expected launch here. GM recently upped its order for Sparks from the Korea plant that produces the car, Cristi Landy, marketing director for Chevrolet small cars, told Automotive News. “We've asked for more already,” Landy said Wednesday.
Explosion at GM Tech Center; lithium battery is the suspected cause
Wed, 11 Apr 2012According to WWJ CBS Detroit, there was an explosion at the General Motors Tech Center in Warren, Mich., on Wednesday morning. Deputy Fire Chief Gary Wilkinson said the explosion most likely was related to a lithium battery. Wilkinson told Autoweek that a responder notified the HAZMAT team via radio that the explosion involved lithium batteries in the research facility's Alternative Energy Center.
