Supermarkets Announce Fuel Price Cuts

AHEAD of the forthcoming Budget, two major supermarket chains have announced a welcome fuel price cut. The first company to show its hand was Tesco, which has announced a reduction in its petrol and diesel by 1p a litre. Asda then followed, with the supermarket giant taking up to 1p a litre off its petrol and up to 2p a litre off its diesel, pledging motorists would pay no more than 132.7p a litre for diesel and 126.7p a litre for petrol.

Audi reveals 2014 TT interior at CES

To reveal a new car’s interior before we’ve even seen a concept sketch of the whole vehicle sketch seems odd. But nevertheless, that’s exactly what Audi has done with its 2014 TT, unveiling the car’s cabin at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Subaru XV gets world’s first self-cleaning function (+ video)

Subaru UK has revealed that the Subaru XV Crossover can now be specified with the world’s first self-cleaning function for a car. It’s a decent effort from Subaru, with added credibility as a compact urban warrior coming from Subaru’s 4WD prowess, a choice of a couple of petrol engines and a couple of diesels, manual or auto options and prices from £21k to £30k. But in a crowded market place it’s good to have a USP, so Subaru has pushed the boat out and is offering a world first for the Subaru XV – a self-cleaning function.
