Before you get too excited, the Jaguar Speedboat isn’t a new item on the XF Sportbrake’s option list, but an exercise in translating Jaguar’s design philosophy in to an alternative product; one that fits seamlessly with Jaguar’s ‘Lifestyle’ pitch for the XF Sportbrake. The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders forecasts that car production is set to top 2 million a year in three years' time. That's enough to eclipse the 1.92m record set forty years ago in 1972.
