Set of Mikuni carbs removed from running 1996 Seadoo GSX. These carbs are from my personal ski, they were last taken apart in September 2012 and cleaned (including the filters). The Seadoo had the gray fuel lines changed at that time so there will be no green goo in these that plagues so many of these older Seadoos (with the gray fuel lines). Carbs are in great working condition, I just pulled them off running ski today (8/1/2013). I've ridden this Seadoo many times this year with no issues. Freshwater only ski.

Buyer to pay $18 shipping to anywhere in the lower 48 US states. I accept Paypal. Check out my other auctions for more great stuff.

This is the actual Seadoo parts removed from (Seadoo not included)

Audi unveils fuel sipping A3 1.6 TDI ultra

Mon, 05 Aug 2013

Audi has just revealed a new version of its popular A3 hatchback, this one aimed straight at fuel economy figures that'll put hybrids to shame. The new A3 1.6 TDI ultra uses just 3.2 liters of diesel per 100 kilometers as the Europeans like to put it, or 73.5 miles per U.S. gallon.

McLaren to bring F1 GTR, LM and Longtail to Goodwood

Tue, 18 Jun 2013

McLaren is taking the 24 Hours of Le Mans off this year -- actually, it has taken the last 14 years off -- and is instead concentrating on a British tradition: the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The company confirmed it would bring the 1995 Le Mans-winning McLaren F1 GTR to take on the hill this year. It will be joined by the one-off prototype McLaren F1 LM, as well as the Gulf-liveried McLaren F1 GTR Longtail, which claimed second place in 1997.

Crucified cassette, Hindi BMW remix CD and other junkyard musical finds

Mon, 24 Mar 2014

In addition to holiday-themed displays assembled by junkyard employees and the occasional sad, flood-victim Volvo Amazon, I frequently find homemade mix CDs and cassette tapes while prowling through wrecking yards. In fact, it would be possible to go into just about any high-inventory-turnover self-service wrecking yard in North America and come away with several dozen such discs and tapes, if anybody ever felt motivated to do such a thing. I haven't, yet.
