Striking new Kia concept for Frankfurt

Mon, 19 Aug 2013

It wouldn’t be a motor show without a wild and outlandish concept car from Kia and it looks like the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in September will be no different. It’s also said to be “playful but gutsy, sturdy yet impish” – so could it be a small crossover?

The design team sought to combine contemporary Nissan design cues with more classic features on this 4,656mm-long five-seat sedan. The Almera has a long wheelbase of 2,700mm while the luggage area is said to be disguised by the sweep of the roofline and rear window that flows into the trunk lid.
