‘Lamborghini’ Ferruccio (2008) first official pictures
Tue, 01 Apr 2008By Mike Elwin First Official Pictures 01 April 2008 10:57 This is the Lamborghini that never was: the stillborn Ferruccio project that has just been put on ice owing to a lack of orders. Designed by Italian coachbuilder Magvisio, the Ferruccio was a rebodied Murcielago LP640 and would have been faster than any current car wearing the Lamborghini badge, with a claimed top speed of 230mph. Although not an official Lamborghini project, Sant'Agata was monitoring the scheme ‘with interest’, according to its creators.Magvisio specialises in customisation jobs for private clients, and the Ferruccio was to be its first stab at designing a car from the ground up.
Smart fortwo ED (that’s the electric one) 3rd Gen in 2012
Tue, 16 Aug 20112012 Smart fortwo ED You’ve got to admire Mercedes for persevering with the Smart, despite not exactly setting the car sales charts on fire. Still, their pockets are deep enough to play, so we’re to be treated to the third generation Smart EV with the arrival at Frankfurt next month of the 2012 Smart fortwo ED.
Proton Satria Neo (2007) - the supermini that Lotus built
Mon, 19 Mar 2007By Jack Carfrae First Official Pictures 19 March 2007 12:53 Proton Satria Neo: the lowdown The new incarnation of Proton’s Satria has made its way into British showrooms. Still keen (and rightly so) to boost its street cred, Proton is making a song and dance about its ownership of Lotus by claiming that the Satria Neo is layered with Hethel know-how, design and inspiration. Those expecting Elise-style handling and Esprit-like power might be touch on the disappointed side, though… There’s no doubt that the Satria Neo is a sharper-looking car than its predecessor.
