Volkswagen Beetle Dune concept for Detroit Motor Show

Volkswagen Volkswagen has announced a Beetle Dune concept will take to its show stand at the 2014 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) next week – promising to bring a bit of beach buggy sunshine to the polar vortex chilled show halls of Detroit. Most drivers say no to toll roads

RADICAL Government proposals to privatise some roads in the UK and for companies to charge a toll have been rejected by drivers. Seventy-seven per cent of drivers say they would avoid toll roads and use another route to avoid paying to drive on a road. The government is considering handing over the running of some roads to private companies as part of the Infrastructure Bill as recommended in the Cook Report.

Ford targets Toyota Prius with C-Max Energi crossover

Ford is going after the Toyota Prius with its new C-Max Energi plug-in hybrid. In its latest release, the Blue Oval called out the best-selling hybrid seven times while announcing the new crossover's fuel, range and pricing. Ford says the C-Max Energi will travel 550 miles on one tank of gas.
