This is a brochure put out by General Motors to announce the 1997 C5 Corvette. It was made to look like a sealed file folder and stamped "Limited Access". All twelve pages are a high quality photo type of paper. My photos don't do justice to the fine photographs included in this brochure. Measures 7 1/4" by 10". The back cover has an area where the top layer of paper has come off-looks like maybe it was laid on top of something wet and then lifted. See photo. Other than that, it is in fine condition.

I am putting seven old car manuals up for auction this week, so please check my other auctions:
1947 Chevy, 1948 Chevrolet, 1959-1965 Mercedes 220B, Volvo 1800ES, 1957 Nash, 1965 Rambler Ambassador

Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!

Audi RS Q3 concept

Wed, 18 Apr 2012

Audi is set to present its latest concept car, the RS Q3, at Auto China 2012. The concept has been developed around the theme of ‘dynamic performance', with Audi lowering its body by around 25mm as well as widening it with sharp detailing in an attempt to explore the potential of the Q3 model series. The concept's single frame grille is bordered by brushed and polished aluminum trim, while the black grille insert features honeycombs that are slightly offset to each other deeper inside to create a 3D effect.

Alfa Romeo 4C in action at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (video)

The Alfa Romeo 4C made its dynamic debut (pictured) at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed The long awaited Alfa Romeo 4C finally made its debut in production spec at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and at the weekend the 4C made its dynamic debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. To make sure the 4C made as big an impact as possible at Goodwood, we’d expected Alfa to run up the hillclimb in the launch edition 4C, which gets plenty of extra goodies including a carbon fibre body kit and spoiler, but this 4C looked to be a standard model. But even though we’d like to have seen the launch edition with its extra carbon fibre goodies, the standard car gets exactly the same 1750cc 4-cylinder petrol engine with enough get up and go, 236bhp, to move the lightweight 4C (under 900kg) to 62mph in just 4.5 seconds.
