These are the first images of the new Mazda3 sedan, set to make its public debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November. This is the first complete redesign of the Mazda3 (known as Mazda Axela in Japan) since its introduction five years ago. Utlizing design cues first seen in its larger sibling, the Mazda6, the dynamic redesign adds an air of masculinity to the small Mazda3, a car which, according to the Japanese company, has 'had every element developed for heightened exhilaration'.

Audi is pulling weight out of its A8 limousine and sticking in more power in an effort to stem the expected upsurge from Mercedes-Benz’s all-new S-Class, also being unveiled for the first time at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The all-wheel drive Audi, which is the top-of-the-range Audi limo, may only change a little visually but delivers big upgrades in its driver assistance systems, as well as tightening its fuel consumption by up to 10%. Ford lowers Sync price

Ford is cutting the price of its Sync software, the company said on Monday. The price will drop from $395 to $295, and Sync will be available on base trim levels for the first time. The new pricing rolls out on the 2012 Ford Explorer and Ford Edge base models.
